ALTON REGENERATION GROUP RRG(formerly SRB)
Minutes of the meeting held on Tuesday 8th JANUARY 2008 at The Royal Oak, Alton.
1. PRESENT: Gillian Morrison, Gabby Lees, David Scrivens, Linda Goodwin, John Moorhouse, Alan Heath, Pat Riesco
2. APOLOGIES: Neil Jeffereys.
3. MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING: These were read and agreed
4. MATTERS ARISING:
WEBSITE. Website is being very well looked after by Neil.
6. PUMP AREA AND NEW ROAD GARDEN. Dave contacted Arthur Forrester to discuss the plans and the future development of this project.
7. YOUTH PROJECT: There was no further update.
8. SPORTS FIELD: Gabby has spoken to Chris and Alan about this project,however more information is needed to get the new project off the ground
9. ALLOTMENTS: Nothing to tell at present.
10. CALENDARS: Have almost sold all calendars, thanks to Neil
12. CAROLS AT THE ROUNDHOUSE: A great success as usual, with approx. 200 people gathered at the event,great thanks to Josie & jonathan Sheppard for all their hard work,& to the people who helped stage this year's event.
13. VILLAGE APPRAISAL – we discussed venues and times, possibility of having a stall at the two church fetes. The questions will be discussed at a future meeting.
14. DATE TIME AND PLACE OF THE NEXT MEETING: 7.30pm Tuesday 26th February 2008 at the Royal Oak,closely followed by the AGM at the same venue commencing about 8.00 pm.
