ALTON RURAL REGENERATION GROUP
MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD AT THE ROYAL OAK, ALTON
ON TUESDAY 7th MARCH 2006
1. PRESENT: Angie Hurst, Gillian Morrison, John Moorhouse, Alan Heath,
and Dave Scrivens.
2. APOLOGIES: Claire Head and Ruth Murray-Walker.
3. MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING: Were read and agreed.
4. MATTERS ARISING: There were none.
5. PLAYGROUND UPDATE: Alan will look into a durable path for the entrance to the playground. Possibly slabs under the seats would be better than grass.
6. WEBSITE: Information on best kept village to go on.
7. RECRUITMENT DRIVE: Claire has faded out map in hand. John has taken the recruitment poster to adjust on his computer.
8. PUBLICITY POSTER: Angie will look at possible dates to book the village hall on a Sunday afternoon in June between 2pm and 4pm for the open forum, and check the dates with John.
9. GATEWAY: This is now finished. It was agreed to funding for primroses for the site. Alan and Dave thanked john for all his hard work on the gateway.
10. ANY OTHER BUSINESS: Alan agreed to investigate funding for he pump area, Dave agreed to do the same.
11. DATE TIME AND PLACE OF NEXT MEETINGS: Tuesday April 11th 2006 and May 9th 2006 at 7.30pm.
