ALTON PRIMARY CARE CENTRE
Newsletter No 2 — December 2005
News from Prima 200
The foundations are now finished and over the next six weeks you will see the structure start to emerge: the steel framework will go up, brick and block work will continue and the roof will be constructed.
The brick and block work is due to be completed shortly after Christmas and the roof should be finished around mid-January.
The weather forecast up to January 1st doesn’t predict any snow, or indeed many frosts, so the builders shouldn’t get either held up or frozen up. The sympathies of the Prima 200 staff were with them during the last cold snap (it’s easy from a warm office!).
Please note that it is normal for construction to stop for two weeks at Christmas, so don’t be surprised when there’s no activity on the site.
Floor Plan
Apologies if you’ve tried to view the plan on the village web site, the site administrator was unable to load it in the format we provided. We hope to solve the problem soon.
News from the PCT
There are no new developments to report this month. The team are currently working on protocols that will ensure the smooth running of the building and the services that will be delivered from it.
