Directions : Situated at the bottom of the village. Turn left just before crossing the river churnet.
Food Wholesome fresh local produce and prime succulent meats are served in our our new Alton Bridge Hotel Carvery Restaurant.
Facilities We offer a superb Bar, Hotel Gardens by the River Churnet, and the only Hotel Helipad in Alton.
Accommodation We offer six cosy en-suite bedrooms with colour TV. and complimentary tea/coffee tray. For guest comfort and safety all bedrooms are strictly no smoking. Full English breakfast is included and served from 8:30am to 9:15am Prices from £35.00 per person each night based on double occupancy. Rooms are available for check-in from 5:00pm. Guests are asked to vacate their room by 10.00 a.m. Full payment is required upon booking. Reservations can be taken by telephone or e-mail together with credit card details.

Directions : Situated at the entrance to the village just off the road from Denstone.
Food The Barn restaurant's spacious rustic atmosphere makes it an ideal venue for wedding receptions, annual dinners, business lunches and works parties etc. On most evenings throughout the year we run a specials board with exotic and traditional fayre, always using fresh market produce. We have an extensive restaurant menu, which is updated seasonally and caters for a variety of tastes. Why not come and try our traditional Sunday lunch, all our meals are freshly prepared. The Barn Restaurant was opened in June 97 and has a feature open fireplace which was built with stone from the original outbuildings which were situated at the back of the old pub. The well, which is in the entrance to the restaurant, was originally over 100ft deep, it was filled in about 20yrs ago and is now only 20ft deep. Recently we have been awarded a 4 Star rating from staffordshire Moorlands Environmental Health Authority in the Aiming for Excellence Safer Food award

Directions : The Bulls head is easily found on the main village street just off the Alton Towers road.
Food Our recently refurbished restaurant can boast a great standard of food from our Chef. We are able to serve food in the bar as well as the restaurant, and can also offer a snack menu and a children's menu.
Facilities The public bar is decorated in traditional "olde-worlde" style with genuine oak beams and Inglenook fireplace (see picture below). Leading from the bar area is the "snug", a small cosy seating area where children may sit.
Accommodation We have seven en-suite bedrooms comprising of 4 double rooms, a twin room, a family room and a family suite. All rooms have colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities and are decorated in a traditional country style.

Directions : The Ramblers Retreat is on the Red Road - leaving the Village on the way to Alton Towers, turn left before  the Bridge. You soon come to the car park on the left
Food The Ramblers Retreat is an award winning Country Restaurant and Coffee House nestled in Dimmingsdale, part of the beautiful Churnet Valley in Staffordshire. Our menu is homemade using only the best ingredients, many of which are sourced from local suppliers in the Staffordshire Moorlands. And as well as a delicious meal you can also enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of this spectacular valley by following one of the established woodland walks. We are open all year round, Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 5pm.

Directions : When approaching the village from Denstone, turn left past the Roundhouse and you will find the Royal Oak just at the bottom of a short hill.

Food There’s a strong Italian flavour to the food at the White Hart, our wood burning pizza oven produces crispy stone-baked pizza’s just like in Tuscany and provides a bit of theatre at the same time. Keeping with the Italian theme there are a selection of pasta dishes and home made deserts. For those of you looking for something more traditional, our selection of prime steaks, home made pies, casseroles and curries cannot fail to get your taste buds tingling. And if you just want a light snack, our bar food menu is just the job!
Accommodation We have 3 rooms, all of which contain double beds and either one or two single beds, all the rooms can also accommodate a cot or a folding bed if necessary. All rooms have recently been refurbished but retain their “Olde worlde” feel.
