St Peter's Alton and St Leonard's Bradley Summer Fete

The Summer fete will take place on Saturday the 11th of June, in the field adjacent to St Peters School Alton (by kind permission of Eddie & Barbara Heath). Programmes will soon be available with a Lucky Programme Number Prize of £50.

Competition Categories

Group A Adult - 16 and over - £1 per entry
1. Floral arrangement in a recycled container
2. Floral arrangement - 'Regeneration'
3. Photograph - "Carbon Footprint" (Size limit 254mm x 204mm (10" x 8"))
4. Painting "Global Warming" (Any medium)
5. An item of handiwork made from recycled materials(Wood, metal, ceramic, etc. not needlework)
6. One hand knitted item
7. A needlecraft picture
8. One jar of marmalade
9. One 'no-cook' chocolate cake
10. One farmhouse cake to the recipe in the programme (ingredients fixed, method for guidance)
11. Six savoury scones
12. A collection of home-grown vegetables in a box or basket
13. Recycled container of Outdoor Plants
Please remember that anyone aged 16 and over must enter adult classes


Group B School Years 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 - 20p per entry
1. Six fruit scones
2. Photograph - 'Reducing the carbon footprint' (Size limit A3)
3. Character made from recycled materials
4. An item of handmade jewellery (Any material)
5. A wind-powered working machine made from any materials


Group C School years 3, 4, 5 and 6 - 20p per entry
1. 6 homemade fairy cakes - decorated
2. A poster encouraging recycling (Size limit A3)
3. A decorated stone to use as a paperweight.
4. An item of homemade jewellry(Any recycled material.)
5. A watered-powered working machine made from any materials


Group D Child - school year 2 and below - 20p per entry
1. A decorated hardboiled egg
2. A poster encouraging recycling (Size limit A3)
3. A garden on a plate or small tray
4. Animal made from natural materials(Vegetable, cones, shells etc.)
5. A bunch of handmade flowers.
